Vanishing Days reveals the raw physicality of the human body from behind, stripped of expression yet heavy with presence. The figure’s back, shoulders, and neck are carved in shadow and light, suggesting both strength and fragility. Muscles press forward like unspoken words, a silent weight carried inward.
The absence of a visible face invites the viewer to project their own narratives—whether resilience, exhaustion, or solitude—onto the figure. This piece is not simply about anatomy, but about the unrelenting burden of being embodied, of carrying both flesh and spirit.
