OBSCURA I A study in contrast and atmosphere, OBSCURA I uses flowing grayscale forms to guide the eye through a field of tension and calm. Soft gradients shift into bold dark regions, creating moments of weight that anchor the composition. Sprayed textures, splatter, and drifting drips add a sense of movement, as if the piece is caught in the middle of forming itself. Wide areas of untouched white offer space to breathe and reflect, letting the viewer drift between clarity and obscurity.
