Into The Quiet City captures a solitary figure suspended in freefall above an urban landscape. The city beneath is blurred and ghostly, its towering forms dissolving into shadow and mist, while the figure above is sharply defined, weightless yet vulnerable. The vast emptiness of the sky intensifies the sense of dislocation, as if time itself has slowed in the moment between impact and release.
This work explores themes of fragility, isolation, and surrender within modern life. It asks the viewer to consider the contrast between the enormity of the world around us and the smallness of a single human body in motion.
